Haleem Restaurant Style Recipe
NOTE: All DAALS and Rice should be dipped over night before cooking
1) Add Whole Wheat 1.5 Cup
2) Urad Daal (Daal Mash) – One Cup
3) Daal chana (split Chickpeas) – One Cup
4) Add rice few spoons
5) Add three glasses of water
6) Mix well and remove foam from water
7) Pressure (10-15 minutes)
8) After pressure check if daals are cooked, You should grind all mixture
Now time to prepare masala
1) Oil
2) Methi Dana One spoon
3) Ginger and garlic paste
4) Haleem Masala – 3 spoons
5) Cumin Powder – Zeera one spoon
6) Coriander Seed (Grinded) – One Spoon
7) Turmeric powder – one spoon
8) You can add Achar Goasht masala for taste – Its optional
9) Add water if needed for gravy
10) Green Chili (Grinded)
11) Add Shredded Boiled boneless Mutton (.75 Kg) – When you boil the mutton make sure you save broth for later use.
12) Cook 10 -15 Minutes
13) Add Brown onion (Two) – you can cook at home or buy it from store.
14) Cook 3-5 minutes
15) Add grinded mixture into masala
16) Cook for few minutes
17) Add saved broth (yakhni)
18) At this point you can grind with hand tool
19) Add salt – Salt should be added at the end
20) Cook 10-15 minutes on medium flame
21) Ready to Eat!
